Breishit / In the Beginning 2
ז.
7.
And the Lord God formed the human
of dust from the soil
וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו, נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים;
And blew into his nostrils the breath of life
and the human became a living being.
Birkat HaGuf / Blessing of the Body
Blessed are You, Lord our God, King of the universe,
who formed (hu)man with wisdom
and created in him small holes and orifices.
It is revealed and made known before Your throne of glory
that if one of them should open or one of them should be blocked,
it would be impossible to exist and stand before You.
Blessed are You, Lord, who heals all flesh and does wonders.
