Halleluyah
הללויה לעולם, הללויה ישירו כולם
Halleluyah to the world, Halleluyah, all will sing
במילה אחת בודדה הלב מלא בהמון תודה
With one word alone the heart fills with so much thanks
והולם גם הוא – איזה עולם נפלא.
And it also beats: what a wonderful world.
הללויה עם השיר,
Halleluyah with the song,
הללויה על יום שמאיר,
Halleluyah on the day that lights up
הללויה על מה שהיה, ומה שעוד לא היה –
Halleluyah on what was, and what has not yet been –
הללויה.
Halleluyah.
הללויה לעולם, הללויה ישירו כולם
Halleluyah to the world, Halleluyah, all will sing
והענבלים הגדולים יהדהדו בהמון צלילים
And the big clappers will reverberate with so much sound
ואתנו הם יאמרו, הללויה.
And with us, they will say, Halleluyah
הללויה עם השיר,
Halleluyah with the song,
הללויה על יום שמאיר,
Halleluyah on the day that lights up
הללויה על מה שהיה, ומה שעוד לא היה –
Halleluyah on what was, and what has not yet been –
הללויה.
Halleluyah.
הללויה על הכל, הללו על מחר ואתמול
Halleluyah on it all, Sing-praise on tomorrow and yesterday
הללויה, ותנו יד ביד – ושירו מלב אחד –
Halleluyah, and put hand in hand – and sing from one heart –
הללויה.
